– All Sanction mechanisms that are now in force will apply – as the result of today’s discussion on the Ukraine commented one EU diplomat. He added, to maintain sanctions advocated by experts from the EU’s external action service, who prepared a report on the implementation of the peace plan in Ukraine.

Ambassadors of the Member States agreed on the fact that though there are some positive developments in the East – as the release of the hostages, however, still some elements of the agreement signed in Minsk require proper implementation. These include, among others, for monitoring the border with Russia.

The European Union entering the last round of sanctions announced it may withdraw, suspend or modify in whole or in part depending on the situation on the ground. In addition – the most severe – restrictions on the economic, the Community also imposed financial sanctions and visa. On the EU black list is currently 119 people and 23 companies.
