Bitter words of Pope Francis: We ask harm creation … – wPolityce.pl

Let the Lord have mercy on his people, the ones who suffer the great tribulation, and on those who cause destruction to repent

– the Pope said during the Mass, celebrated just before dusk on the main Rome’s Campo Verano cemetery.

Francis took the same tradition initiated by St . John Paul II . Before the start of the Eucharist, the Pope watched the pictures, showing the effects of the bombing of Rome before 71 years. They also suffered the consequences of Campo Verano cemetery.

It was horrible, so much suffering, but it’s nothing compared to what is happening today

– said Francis, by sharing your thoughts in improvised homily. The Holy Father entirely focused on the first reading of the Book of Revelation.

When I first listened to the reading angel crying with a loud voice to the angels who were given power to harm earth and sea, I thought, that we will be able to inflict more damage than the earth angels

– the Pope said.

I actually do it. We ask harm creation, life, culture, values, hope. And how much we need the power of the Lord God, that has sealed us with His love and power to stop this insane destructive passion.

In this context, Francis spoke of the atrocities of war, the whole system culture of destruction and rejection. Speaking from the turn of the apocalyptic image of a large crowd, the Pope reminded those in today’s world to experience the great tribulation.

The coming cold weather, those poor people who have to flee to save their own life, running away from home, with his people from their villages in the desert … I live in tents, they feel cold, do not have medicines, are hungry

– the Holy Father said.

For man-god usurped the creation of all these beautiful things that God has created for us. And who pays the bill? They do! The poor, those who experienced rejection. This is not some ancient history. This is happening today. And the crowd is before God and asks: rescue, give us peace, give us bread, work ….

– marked the Francis.

The Pope added that today most mankind taste of oppression.

Our hope is God who sanctifies through the tribulation. And we, as a church we are to live blessings. Only this path leads to God and save us from destruction. May the Lord sustains us, give us the grace and courage of hope out of all this, causing destruction, injustice and exclusion

– he said at the end of the Holy Father.
