According to reports in the newspaper “The Scotsman” and “Daily Mail”, the store manager in Kirkcaldy outraged his Polish staff, the prohibition of speaking in Polish – not only with Polish customers, but even among themselves during breaks. Poles from Kirkcaldy began collecting signatures for a protest. Workers have announced a complaint with the Directorate Lidl in Germany. And Ambassador Witold Sobków wrote to the director of the British branch of the company.
