22.12. New York (PAP) – The killer of two NYPD officers, 28-year-old Ismaaiyl Brinsley, had extensive criminal history, including spent two years in prison for illegal possession of weapons – said the head of the police detectives in New York, Robert Boyce.

Robert Boyce said that as many as 19 times Brinsley was arrested, mostly for theft.

Black Brinsley Ismaaiyl Saturday shot two police officers sitting in a parked marked police car in Brooklyn. The perpetrator then fled to the subway station, where shot in the head took his own life.

Boyce confirmed that the killer placed on social networking threats against police in connection with the death of the police intervention black Michael Brown and Eric Garner.

Investigators examine whether Brinsley took part in the recent protests against police brutality. Also check that the man was suffering from a mental disorder, which suggests his mother.
