The situation in Syria is very difficult for more than three years. In March 2011, the citizens of this country took to the streets to protest against the government, particularly against President al-Assad Baszarowi. The protests were brutally crushed by the security services. Then the armed uprising broke out. Then the conflict turned into a civil war.
In 2013 conflict – along with the growing importance of the jihadist organization the Islamic State (IS) – has changed its face. Radicals are fighting not only the Syrian government troops, but also with other rebel groups.

The aim of the group, which is a successor of Sunni extremists from the period of the occupation of Iraq by Western powers, is to establish a religious state based on the principles of Koranic law in Iraq, Syria and Lebanon.
