On board the machine were 58 people, including five members of the crew. Rescued 15 people, 12 are still missing.

Rescue teams have unearthed and slotted wreck the machine, trying to reach out to people who may be in the middle. Also found the black box of the aircraft.

“Mayday, mayday!”

The causes of the disaster are determined. ATR 72-600 turboprop aircraft probably – according to Kyodo news agency – lost speed after takeoff from Taipei Songshan Airport.

 This aircraft is the second ATR-72, which crashed in the last year. In July, the machine has crash landing on an island off the coast of Taiwan, Penghu. 48 people were killed and 10 were injured. Then, as one of the main causes of the accident were administered the fatal weather.
