SOS Polish yacht off the coast of Norway – Interia

Polish crew of a yacht off the coast of Norway sent an SOS signal. The team asked for help with difficult weather conditions – inform the Norwegian media.

The unit managed to trace a helicopter rescue crew. Poles were evacuated.

According to the Polish Embassy in Norway, the Poles have light injuries.

At the time of posting SOS signal boat was about 100 km from Bergen. Waves in the North Sea have a height of 6 to 11 feet, and the wind speed of 60 knots.

It is known that an individual has a broken mast. The crew sent a distress signal via satellite phone.

The rescue operation involved two boats and helicopters.
