How to solve the problem of money left in the bank of deceased clients considering the Senate – “Rzeczpospolita” informs.
It is estimated that banks and credit unions such stray deposits can be as much as 15 billion zł. Under the law, if not already appear heirs, they should get to cash the municipality where the deceased lived. Banks would prefer to keep them on their accounts, and some senators want to support a non-governmental organizations. Senators have prepared a bill which proposes the creation of a central information on accounts maintained by the National Clearing House.
