US soldiers will train National Guard
This will be 290 US airborne troops and training and exercises will be attended by 900 National Guard soldiers in three 300-person groups. Training each of these groups will last eight weeks, after which there will be joint exercises – revealed Awakow.
Pentagon recently reported that the US military will begin in the second half of April the training of soldiers belonging to the six companies of the Ukrainian National Guard to strengthen their capacity in the fight against pro-Russian rebellion in the east of the country.
She said Pentagon spokeswoman Eileen Lainez, training will focus on “defensive capabilities” Ukrainian soldiers.
