Poroshenko visited on Thursday in Aachen Germany, where he met, among others, French President Francois Hollande and European Council President Donald Tusk. The main theme of the talks were deeskalacja conflict from the separatists pro-Russian at Ukrainian Donbas and preparation for Scheduled coming week Eastern Partnership summit Riga.
After meeting with Tusk presidential administration in Kiev said that even on Thursday in Ukraine starts EU mission whose task will be to evaluate the situation in the east of the country.
“Head of State stressed that Ukraine needs more coordination between the European Union and the United States on the issue of peaceful settlement of the (conflict with separatists)” – informed.
Poroshenko also talked with Tusk on the abolition of visa requirements for Ukrainian citizens traveling to the EU. He noted that Kiev hopes to gain perspective visa-free regime for Eastern Partnership Summit.
The president “also appealed giving a clearer perspective of the European countries of the Eastern Partnership that hard talk about their European aspirations “- it reads.
