The resort Pew Research Center conducted a survey in six European countries – the UK, Germany, Spain, France, Italy and Poland, as well as in the United States and Canada. In this study the smallest inclination to help allies with NATO were the Germans.

Only 38 percent of the residents of this country is in favor of using the German armed forces in the event of any of the allies to attack by Russia. 58 percent are opposed, as are more than half of Italians and the French.
If our country was attacked by Russian is the most we could count on the United States. 56 percent of Americans would support sending troops to defend Polish or another NATO ally.
Not much less support (53%) of this kind of intervention would enjoy among Canadians.
According to a survey the Pew Research Center shows that public opinion in NATO countries supports economic support Ukraine, and even the country’s acceptance into the Alliance. Those who favor the supply of weapons to Ukraine but are now in the minority. The exception is Poland, where 50% of respondents supported sending weapons to Kiev.
