Vladimir Putin: we are ready to defend in case of emergency – Virtual Poland

Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that Russia will be forced to turn their weapons against countries that threatened its territory. He expressed concern about protection against missile system close to Russian borders.
 

– If anyone would threaten the territory of Russia, aim their weapons to those countries from which the danger comes – host warned the Kremlin. – Once the threat appears in the neighboring country, Russia has to react in an appropriate manner and use their defense in such a way as to neutralize the threat – he said.

Putin stressed that NATO is coming to the borders of Russia, and not vice versa. He added also that the Russian side “will analyze everything”, but so far “does not see anything particularly alarming”.
 

After talks with President of Finland Sauli Niinistö also stated that the best guarantee of security for the country is its neutral status.
 

Earlier, the Russian president said that Russia will introduce this year on armaments than 40 new nuclear intercontinental ballistic missiles, and the coming months will test the new node its missile defense radar.

Speaking at the opening of the International Forum on Military-Technical Army-2015 in Kubinka near Moscow stressed that the new nuclear missiles will be totally resistant to all currently existing measures to combat them.
