22.01. Athens (PAP / AFP, Reuters, AP) - 44 people, including 20 children, were killed on Friday in the cases of three boats with migrants - according to the latest data of the Greek harbor police and the Turkish media after finding further bodies. Boats sank in the Aegean Sea between the Turkish and Greek coast.

According to the previous balance in two accidents killed at least 21 people, including eight children. Previously announced, too, that managed to save 74 people.

The wooden boat that sailed from Turkey, sank at approx. 1:30 am Polish time. The Coast Guard found the bodies of six children and women. According to police, port 48 people managed to safely reach the farmakonisi, a small island near the Turkish coast when their boat smashed against the rocks.

A few hours later, another unit capsized off the coast of the small island Kalolimnos, the south-eastern Aegean Sea. According to the latest data port police pulled from the water 34 bodies, including 11 children and 16 women. The other 26 people survived the accident. They say that on board were dozens of people.
