The Czech Republic is prepared to accept Syrian refugees directly from Turkey. Such a declaration was made Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka in response to the summit of the European Union – Turkey, where Ankara has presented a new proposal to solve the immigration crisis.
Turkey suggested that it will take back all illegal immigrants. The condition is additional financial support and taking over the refugees by European countries directly from Turkey.
Bohuslav Sobotka is convinced that accepting immigrants Czech Republic, at least partially follow through on an agreement the amounts, which was concluded in September last year during the peak of the interior ministers of the European Union. However, strongly opposes both increasing predetermined number of immigrants, and adoption sustainable system relocation of refugees.
The Czech Prime Minister also stated that he hoped that the movement of migrants from Turkey to Europe will only be a temporary solution.
