From the annexation of the Crimea by Russia, it’s been two years. Ukrainians failed to reflect these lands, but their loss is not reconciled. Now President Petro Poroshenko (51 l.) Has given them new hope to regain parts of the country. But it is not going to cause another fatal war?
So far the military strategy of Ukraine focused mainly on the war with the rebels in Donbas. Poroshenko, however, decided it was time to change it. Decided to “significantly strengthened” military positions along the shores of the Black Sea and in the Kherson region, which borders with the Crimea.
– I am convinced that will restore those territories under Ukrainian sovereign sovereignty. This extremely complex and promising process has already begun. I have recommended the convening of a special meeting of the Council of National Security and Defence, which will clarify our strategy of reintegration of Crimea – said the President of Ukraine. – Crimea was, is and will be an integral part of the Ukrainian state, and country offender will have to return the loot – assured Poroshenko.
