Israeli media, citing medical service, write about a dozen people injured. The police reported that 21 people were injured, and the cause of the explosion was a bomb.
The first unconfirmed information provided by the media in Jerusalem, said about 20 wounded people.

A few minutes after the explosion source in the local police claimed that there had to be a result of the bombing, but unspecified failure.
– At the moment it is too early to say whether it was an attack. There are witnesses who heard the sound of the explosion, but also gathered other relationships – said in the afternoon her spokeswoman, Asi Aharoni.
– We did not find until now fragments (bombs). We have not received any warnings or in connection with the feast of Passover (…). We will try to find out what happened, and draw conclusions – added the representative of the police.
After hours. 18.00 Polish time, however, Reuters quoted a spokesperson of the mayor of Jerusalem, who said that the vehicle “bomb”. – It was small, but certainly it was a bomb – said Brachi Sprung in an interview with the agency.
Reuters said, citing the Israeli media that police detained a man who had no identification documents with them. He was taken in for questioning and could be related to the tragedy.
After hours. 19.00 Polish time Israeli police spokesman Makonde. Micky Rosenfeld wrote on Twitter that “experts have confirmed that the bus exploded explosive.” According to his information, were injured 21 people.
The police chief in Jerusalem Yoram Levy said that “this was a terrorist attack.”
Official “Haaretz” reported on its website that the outbreak occurred in the bus, which was probably not the passengers. “Haaretz” quoted in this place spokesperson of police in Jerusalem, stressing, however, that he was not entirely sure of such a course of events.
All the wounded are probably people in other vehicles, or on the sidewalk next to the site explosion. It is not clear whether the bus was the driver or the vehicle, closed, was standing on the road for a long time.
According to “Haaretz” were injured “at least 15 people.” Two are in serious condition, and nine were slightly injured. Other Israeli media and Reuters say about 16 people injured.
