Last week, the court stated that the detention in prison of isolation of the man who killed 77 people inhuman treatment. According to the judges, in violation of the European Convention on Human Rights, which states that no one shall be subjected to torture or to inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.
The court found that by opting for special treatment Breivik in prison, the authorities did not consider his mental condition. According to the court security issues they do not oblige prison officials to impose convicted unannounced inspection personal. The judgment found that wrongly prevented Breivikowi file complaints to stay in prison.
The court rejected the complaint while Breivik to a lack of respect for his private life by controlling correspondence by the prison service.

The 37-year-old right-wing extremist, who now openly claims to be a former leader, demanded the freedom to correspond with their supporters.
The authorities are not doing so, the court held that such a restriction is compatible with the European Convention, which allows limitation of secrecy of correspondence, among others, because of public safety, law enforcement and crime prevention.
Multiple murderer has at its disposal three rooms, a kitchen and laundry facilities, TV and telephone, as well as the right to a daily walk.
During the March hearing, Breivik said that “it would be more humane than shooting him treated like an animal over the last five years.” He demanded, among others, the possibility to make phone calls and connect your computer to the Internet. He complained, too, that he was forbidden to give a matrimonial advertisements, making it difficult for him to marry. Other examples of ill-treatment is the administration of Breivik coffee once a day and crappy food from the microwave.
Any easing of conditions in which Breivik is being held, will be possible only after a final verdict.

Anders Behring Breivik is serving 21 years in prison. In Norway, it is the highest sanction. This penalty may be extended if after the man will still be considered dangerous.
