Five policemen were killed in a bomb explosion in Turkey
The bombing occurred in the province of Bingol. Two policemen injured is in serious condition.
Turkish security forces responsible for the attack on militants dropped from the Workers Party Kurdistan (PKK), considered by the authorities in Ankara, the US and the EU as a terrorist organization.
From Friday Sunday twelve Turkish soldiers were killed in battles with militants of the PKK in Hakkari province in the south east, and Ordu, a city on the Black Sea in the north east.
After the collapse of the truce with the PKK in July last year in attacks and fighting in the region killed about 400 soldiers and police officers and several thousand fighters; according to the opposition were killed or between 500 and 1,000 civilians.
PKK calls for greater autonomy for the Kurds in Turkey . Since 1984, Turkey-PKK conflict cost the lives of more than 40,000 people, mostly rebels.
