Group of MEPs spoke for the abolition of visas for Ukrainian citizens. With this decision were deputies of the Commission on civil. That visa was cancelled, still required the consent of the European Parliament and EU countries.
MEPs endorsed the recommendation of the European Commission, which in April acknowledged that Ukraine has fulfilled all the requirements, implements the necessary reforms, and perhaps is the abolition of visas for citizens travelling to the EU. On the sidelines you can hear that the vote in plenary on this matter will take place at the end of next month. Provided, however, prior arrangement with the European countries, and Slovakia control Community, has not yet received the consent of European governments to negotiate with Europarlamentem.
in Parallel, work is underway on the abolition of visas for Georgian citizens. MEPs from the Committee on civil liberties approved a proposal by the European Commission earlier this month. It is not excluded that unijni ambassadors the day after tomorrow will give the green light. If this happens, the Georgians will be able to enter since January, according to the EU without a visa.
