Armed machete man killed a woman in the city of Reutlingen in southern Germany. Two other people were injured. Assailant, 21-year-old refugee from Syria, was detained. On Sunday late in the evening, the German police confirmed earlier media reports that the fatality is Polka. “Bild” claims that the killed woman was pregnant.
The German police confirmed to our services, the victim of an attack in Reutlingen in Baden-Württemberg was a Polish citizen – told PAP on Sunday evening office manager Foreign Ministry spokesman Rafal Sobczak. Reutlingen is located about 20 kilometers south of Stuttgart. The attack took place at about 16.30 Listplatz.
The striker had an argument with a woman – according to the “Bild” – an employee of premises serving kebabs and asked her a few fatal machete wounds. German media, including the “Stuttgarter Zeitung” and “Bild” has previously reported that the victim was to be a Pole, where the striker was in love. They also say that the woman was pregnant.
With regard to this information, the duty officer police Reutlingen said he killed was not carrying any identification and, therefore, if not established neither her name nor nationality. – I’ve heard rumors that a Pole, but I can not confirm this – said the policeman. 
Director of the Press Bureau of the Foreign Ministry Rafal Sobczak reported that the consular services verify this information. Forty minutes before midnight announced that Germany confirmed killed Polish citizenship.
Two persons injured
The attacker also wounded another man and a woman. It is not known whether the perpetrator and the victim knew each other.
A police spokesman confirmed media information that the attacker is a 21-year-old refugee from Syria. She revealed that there was a refugee in Germany for asylum. He was known to police from previous assaults on people. It is not clear when he arrived in Germany. According to “Sttutgarter Zeitung” came to this country six months earlier.
Police said that all indications are that the attacker acted alone. It was stressed that there is no threat to local residents.
