With his trip to Paris to celebrate Steinmeier the importance of German-French relations for Europe and beyond. Together with his French colleague Jean-Marc Ayrault, he will participate in a panel discussion on European policy.

For Steinmeier come full circle: His first trip as foreign Minister took him at 23. November 2005, after Paris. In his second term, from December 2013, he was 30 Times in the French capital.
