At the beginning of September, France announced that it would suspend until November to provide first Mistral Russia because of Moscow’s actions in Ukraine. On the sidelines of the NATO summit in Wales, President Francois Hollande said that the contract for delivery of two Mistral Russia has not been broken or suspended, but not ripe conditions for planned for October delivery of the first ship.
Hollande explained that the terms of the transfer of Russian warships are truce and a political solution to the Ukraine.
