German ultralight aircraft with a pilot on board fell into the Szczecin Lagoon near New Warpna. The accident occurred at night.
The German ministry asked the Poles to support the search. Lieutenant Andrew Juźwiak, a spokesman for the commander of the Maritime Border Guard in Gdansk, said that the action was directed border guard units of the Pomeranian squadron in Swinoujscie.
It was attended also by border guards in Szczecin, and seek coordinated sea Search and Rescue.
The accident was to occur in the vicinity of the village Altwarp lying near the Polish border.
