39 percent. Germans favor of recognition of annexation of the Crimea by Russia; 48 percent. the opposite view – according to a survey, the results published in the Sunday evening the German public television ARD.
The Germans are very divided in opinion on the policy of Russian President Vladimir Putin. 54 per cent. survey participants believe that the Kremlin’s policy is a threat to Germany; 43 per cent. is of the opinion that there is no such threat.
The survey, which was attended by 1,000 people over the age of 14 years moved public opinion research institute Infratest DIMAP. The results of the survey were published on the situation in Ukraine ARD program run by Guenther Jauch.
The discussion on the international recognition of the annexation of the Crimea were provoked SPD chairman Matthias Platzeck. German social democrat – currently the chairman of the German-Russian Forum spoke out last week for the legalization of the inclusion of the Crimea to the Russian Federation. “Smarter should resign,” – said the Platzeck.
Platzeck, participating in Sunday in the Jauch, explained that used a “shorthand” that distorted his intentions. He explained that he wanted to encourage Moscow and Kiev to seek “legal solution to the Crimea” that would be acceptable to both parties.
