Russia and four other post-Soviet countries in Moscow finalized the creation of a new economic alliance – the Eurasian Economic Union (EUG) – which is to raise the level of integration of these countries and increase their competitiveness.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the documents relating to join Armenia and Kyrgyzstan to the Eurasian Economic Union, which begins its operations on 1 January 2015.. EUG, which was established on the basis of the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, is to coordinate free trade, financial systems and regulate industrial and agricultural policy with labor markets and transport. Its members have a common cause in the field of energy.
The community modeled on the EU Kremlin also wanted to draw Ukraine. This, however, has chosen integration with the European Union.

The fight against terrorism

In a statement after the meeting announced coordinated action against ODKB country nationals who are fighting in armed conflict on the side of international terrorist organizations, and then go back to their countries. According to the participants of the summit there is a threat of terrorism abutment formation, which formed the base of the Middle East, where groups are active structures grown with Al Qaeda, including the organization of the Islamic State and the al-Nusra Front. Anxiety states ODKB leaders also raises the threat of the spread of religious extremism in the territory of the Member ODKB Afghanistan.
