Russian president’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin regrets the decision to ban Polish motorcycle rally “Night Wolves” by the country, organized on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Victory.
Peskov, writes TASS, did not answer the question whether the decision of the Polish government considers to be political.
“I regret – he said. – We regret this decision.”
The Russian Foreign Ministry expressed on Friday evening “strong protest” the decision of the Polish authorities to refuse entry to the territory of the Polish organized group of motorcyclists from Russia. Stated that it was outraged that refusal.
The Polish Foreign Ministry refused permission to leave our territory biker group associated with the “Nightstalkers Wolves.”
“Night Wolves” is a nationalist motorcycle club, friendly with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Its members want to pass in the end of April the route Moscow-Berlin to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II. Poland was to be on their route country “in transit.”
