Serbian President plane had to turn back. It turned out that the pilot … – Virtual Poland

Coffee, spilled by the co-pilot on board the instrument panel, was the reason for cancellation of official visit of the President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic in the Vatican – disclosed in Belgrade.
 

Originally reported that the plane had to turn back to the Prime Minister because of the failure of Belgrade. Serbian state television RTS submitted that one of the three engines Falcon 50, which flew president, stopped working when the plane was 10 km on the Adriatic. The investigation revealed, however, that the cause of trouble Falcon was completely different. Captain managed to stabilize the plane and land safely in Belgrade. The co-pilot was suspended license.
 

Nikolic’s visit to the Holy See, as announced in Belgrade, was to be a confirmation of “good relations between the Vatican and Serbia”, numbering 7.1 million inhabitants, mostly Orthodox. President Nikolic participated in March 2013, the inauguration of the pontificate of Pope Francis.
