CBŚP detained chief editor of “Facts and Myths” – TVN24

Police officers from the Central Bureau of Investigation arrested the former deputy, editor of the weekly “Facts and Myths” by Roman Kotliński. Suspicions relate to criminal offenses, including incitement to murder – according to unofficial information tvn24.pl.

As learned unofficially investigative journalists tvn24.pl, Kotliński will be questioned as a suspect until Tuesday late afternoon. Investigators are preparing a series of allegations of a criminal nature, also relating to incitement to murder.

Police officers from the Central Bureau of Investigation entered the editorial office of “Facts and Myths” on Monday morning and stayed there until evening. – We have carried out tasks assigned by the Appellate Prosecutor’s Office in Lodz – we heard at police headquarters. Criminal case?

– We are surprised, because from what we know, this case concerns the private life of the editor-in-chief. We do not understand, therefore, why the editorial materials were taken and were searched desks journalists. For us it is quite shocking – he added.

Cioch estimated that “probably the only such situation in the past quarter of a century, that there has been such raids on the editorial staff in a situation where apparently it has no connection with any our text. “

He also stressed that the prosecution did not ask in advance about the release of any of the materials.

According to our unofficial information, the operation actually had no connection with journalistic activities of the editor-in-chief and former Member Traffic Palikot. As for the investigation, which has been going on for nearly two years at the Lodz prosecutor’s appeal.
