Government experts predict that in the years 2016-2020 will come to Germany an average of half a million refugees annually – writes “SZ”. This means that the authorities have to reckon with 2.5 million new people seeking asylum. Taking into account the 1.1 million people who came last year, the number of immigrants will increase to 3.6 million – says the “SZ”.
the Ministry of economy has confirmed the existence of such “internal forecasts for technical purposes”. A representative of the ministry stipulated that a sound prediction is now because of the uncertain situation impossible, because the government does not provide any official figures.
Deutschlandfunk Radio reported that on Wednesday, the first time since the restoration in mid-September, border controls at crossing the Austrian police did not register a single refugee.
