Muslim Brotherhood leader sentenced to death – Dziennik.pl

The court in Cairo as the main penalty ruled for 11 other activists of the fundamentalist organization, recognizing that responsible for causing social unrest and riots, which occurred on the streets of Egyptian cities after the overthrow of President Mohammed Mursi.

Then, in 2013, ruling with Muslim Brotherhood Mursi was ousted from power by the military. Badi called on to defend the president. The riots in Cairo killed dozens of people.

The court also sentenced in absentia to two people of the death penalty, and 23 people for life imprisonment.

From this judgment may be appealed sentenced to the Supreme Court.
