The Russian authorities want the court banned the activities only counting the human rights organizations in Russia.

Memorial learned about the lawsuit with a telegram from the Supreme Court of invitation to appear for trial.
Chairman of the Presidential Council. Rights Human Mikhail Fedotov told reporters today in Moscow that “the closure of the Memorial would be a huge blow to the image of our country and its leadership.”
