Frank-Walter Steinmeier: the efforts of Ukraine to NATO is pouring … – Virtual Poland

Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier in an interview with ZDF warned Ukraine against efforts to join the NATO, because it would be “topping fuel to the fire.” Berlin is set at a long-standing conflict with Russia over Ukraine.
 

Frank-Walter Steinmeier told ZDF that he understood because of the situation of the Ukrainians desire to achieve military and political support from the Alliance. – But we have to be realistic. Steinmerer confirmed the readiness of Germany to negotiate with Moscow in order to find a political solution to the conflict.
