At one point, the Russian journalist asked the president Poroszence question: “Mr. Poroshenko why your troops to attack peaceful residents of Donbass?”
– The whole world expects that either the situation will move towards de-escalation, ceasefire, withdrawal of weapons and stop the death of people, or indeed snatch it out of control – Poroshenko said before talks at a meeting with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
Lukashenko assured him: – We will do everything to with you in the country were peace and harmony. I think this has already proved his actions. All the time we fill all that we promised you, the people of Ukraine. Know that this will continue.
At the summit in Minsk participate – in addition to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko – the presidents of Russia and France – Vladimir Putin and Francois Hollande, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
The leaders of Germany, France, Ukraine and Russia intend to sign a joint declaration of the Belarusian capital, which will draw attention to the need to implement the September agreement from Minsk – informed the agency Interfax-Ukraine source close to the talks.
According to a source in the Ukrainian delegation, quoted by Reuters news agency, the declaration are in favor of territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
Even before the talks, the Ukrainian leader entered the Palace of Independence, there was an incident involving a journalist channel Rossiya, who exclaimed, “Mr. Poroshenko why your troops to attack peaceful residents of Donbass?”. The journalist was removed from coverage of the summit as “disgraceful and provocative behavior” – said one of the security personnel independent web newspaper “Biełorusskije Novosti”.
