                             British police on Wednesday continued to search for burglars who ransacked during the Easter holidays the company’s deposit safes in London’s Hatton Garden jewelery, gaining loot probably the biggest robbery in British history.
                         

The police did not give any information on the extent of the damage, but the daily “Sun” reported that the total value of the stolen gems, jewelry and cash can reach 200 million pounds.
As reports “Sun”, investigators speculate that on Friday the criminals smashed through the wall of the elevator shaft in the building closed for the duration of the extended Easter weekend’s Hatton Garden Safe Deposit. Then descended on ropes to the basement, where the force fought their way to the treasure – said the newspaper, citing a source, whose identity is not revealed.
