A man suspected of links with jihadist movement has been shot dead in Brussels during the Franco-Belgian police operation. His two companions had not yet been apprehended.

Still at large are the two main alleged perpetrators of the attacks, originating from the Brussels district of Molenbeek: Salah and Mohamed Abdeslam Abrini.
