Germany: The case of war reparations to Polish is closed – Dziennik.pl

According to the letter Frank-Walter Steinmeier , Poland has no basis for any claims for compensation at Germany in connection with the Second World War. In a letter to the Bundestag minister he states that in 1953 Poland, together with the Soviet Union, has renounced reparations from Germany. As we read, there is no doubt that this decision is in force, because the whole thing is legally and politically closed.

“Der Spiegel” adds the letter of the Minister in response to the word Jaroslaw Kaczynski . The leader of Law and Justice in an interview said since the matter of compensation for war losses was never settled, and in the legal sense is current. Jaroslaw Kaczynski stressed that account wrongs on the Polish side is huge .
