Piloted by Bertrand Piccard plane of the solar-powered Solar Impulse 2 ended on Saturday afternoon (local time), 56-hour flight over Pacykiem from Hawaii to San Francisco. It was another stage flight around the world.
Before the scheduled landing at the airport Moffet Airfield, Mountain View, Piccard made a spectacular flight over the famous Golden Gate Bridge, a linking both banks of the Strait of San Francisco Bay. The plane with an extremely large wingspan was observed by thousands of people.
Piccard said earlier, that he can not wait to fly over the Golden Gate plane, which does not pollute the environment and noise.
