– The Middle East is a key topic. We need to work together to prevent the deterioration of the situation – said at the beginning of the meeting, the head of Russian diplomacy, whose words quoted the Italian agency Ansa.
Commentators point to the fact that the talks at the residence of the American ambassador in the Eternal City is another taken by Russia and the United States attempt mediation to bring about a solution to the three most serious conflicts: the Israeli-Palestinian, Syrian and Ukrainian.

The head of US diplomacy will continue talks on Monday with the expected in Rome, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Then, on Tuesday in London, Kerry will meet with Palestinian delegation.
