The President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on Monday accused Russians use “bandit methods” competition. He spoke about this at a meeting with journalists in Minsk.
They can not compete with us or the quality or price of, or in terms of organizing. Why use such administrative, sometimes thuggish methods
– Lukashenko said, referring to his recent meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on supply Belarusian goods to Russia.
According to the Lukashenko such disputes between countries will occur in the future.
Only in a fairy tale, it is possible that we will not have any argument at all
– he said.
He stressed that Belarus is ready for that. “We are the people hardened” – he pointed out.
Russian Rosselkhoznadzor on 24-26 November issued a ban on imports of meat products to Russia, Belarus of 10 plants. Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance justify being detected in products from Belarus harmful substances.
From November 30 also banned the transit of goods from Belarus by Russia to third countries without any control by the Russian border points. According to the Rosselkhoznadzor lorries going in transit through Belarus to Kazakhstan and Russia are actually unloaded on the territory of the Russian Federation.
At the beginning of December, Lukashenko blamed in this regard Russia of violating norms of the Customs Union of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan.
Lukashenko on Monday also denied that Belarus was going to send troops anywhere in Belarus as a force room.
If our soldiers will go somewhere as peacekeepers, then know that I’ll go first. And my older son, who now addresses these problems, just be there. I’m not going to send anyone anywhere, and now I’m being attacked by critics
– he said.
