The right to strike
Duda reminded that the right to organize in trade unions, including the right to strike is one of the basic civil rights recorded not only in the Polish constitution, but also in European Union law and the conventions of the International Labour Organization, which Poland ratified.

The unions are demanding immediate resignation of Zembala and unequivocally distancing itself from that statement.
