On the island Turoy near Bergen in Norway crashed helicopter. Rescuers have found 11 bodies of victims of the disaster – said the Norwegian state television NRK, citing the rescue coordination center.
According to him, except one British and one Italian all included the helicopter persons were Norwegians.
It is not known what were the causes of the accident of the machine. – Emergency services do everything possible to find living people – told a private television TV2 spokesman for the rescue coordination center for southern Norway. The first media reports spoke also about the people who were after the crash in the sea.
Eurocopter EC225 flew drilling rig “Gullfaks B” belonging to the state-owned Statoil. Bergen is the second largest city in Norway. It is located at the junction of the North Sea and the Norwegian.
