Captain Andy Sheed with the sheriff’s office in the county of Columbia said that the body of the alleged killer, 50-year-old Wayne Anthony Hawes, was found in his home. All indications are that he committed suicide.

The police are of the opinion that the victims were related to the wife of the suspect.
