The first numbers of the satirical magazine “Charlie Hebdo” spread like wildfire in France. Publisher released approx. 3 million copies of letters, numbers normally sold 60,000 copies. It appeared not only in French but also in English, Spanish, Italian, Arabic and Turkish. On the cover is a caricature of the Prophet Muhammad. Holds in his hands a card with the words: “I’m Charlie”. Above the head of the prophet inscription – “All is forgiven.”

In the American version number, eBay prices range from a few dozen to several thousand dollars. One of the sellers in Belgium offers your copy – without auction – for 275 thousand. dollars, or close to a million dollars. Normal price is number 3 euros, or approx. 13 dollars.
The huge interest in the newspaper made the distributor decided to increase the number of the current effort to five million copies.
