The German police on Friday morning in Berlin arrested two men suspected of supporting jihadists from Syria. One of them, named the “emir” Tiergarten district. Over the last several hours there has been a series of anti-terrorist action in several countries of Western Europe.

Stop carried out not only Germany, but also French, who at night should say a total of 12 people in connection with the investigation into the attacks last week in Paris. A few hours before the Belgians tried to stop two men suspected of terrorist activity, but a fight and both were shot.





In connection with the shooting in Belgium, it was decided to close the Jewish schools throughout the country, but also in the neighboring Netherlands. The decision was taken as a “precautionary measure”. There was no specific threat.



“Emir” of Berlin

Men arrested in Berlin heard allegations of preparing an attack in Syria and recruiting volunteers for terrorist branch of the Islamic State. There is no evidence that the planned acts of terror in Germany. Both suspects aged 43 and 41 years had to work with three other men, which, however, not stopped, because the allegations against them were not strong enough.

During the police action at the request of the Attorney General of Germany searched 11 properties in Berlin . The operation involved 250 officers and three special classes.

The prosecution alleges 41-year-old Ismetowi D., as a self-styled “emir” led a group of Islamists in Berlin’s Tiergarten district. Members of the organization were in addition to Turkish, Russian citizens of Chechen and Dagestan origin. The head of the group is suspected of radicalization in the teachings of Islam others and preparing them for jihad against “infidels” in Syria.

His companion – 43-year-old Emin F. was responsible for finance. Both organizationally and financially supported the group members traveling to Syria, and supply them with high-quality military equipment.

On the other hand, in Wolfsburg in Lower Saxony, was arrested on Thursday in Germany coming from Tunisia, who during his stay in Syria joined the Islamic State of branches and went there three months combat training. In his case, it was not detected specific plans of preparing attacks in Germany.
