In 2005-2009 he was a deputy ambassador at the US facility in Manila, Philippines, and in 2004-2005 worked in the US delegation in the OSCE in Vienna, Austria.

 

Since 2001 to 2003 he was on Europe at the State Department, and in 1996-1999 he was deputy head of mission at the US Embassy in Skopje, Macedonia. Previously, he was, among others, for institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Colombia and Russia.

 

Stephen Mull was the US Ambassador to Poland since November 2012. He was 27th in a row the US ambassador accredited in Poland since 1919. Mull twice in the past already held diplomatic service in Warsaw – in the mid 80s, and then in the mid-90s he entered to the diplomatic service in March 1982 year.
