02.04. Washington (PAP) - As an experienced politician, when it comes to Polish affairs and relations between the authorities and the opposition, warn against easy optimism - says the head of the European Council Donald Tusk asked to comment on the situation around TK. A little bit disappointing to me his attitude - said Prime Minister of Law and Justice deputy.

"As an experienced politician, when it comes to Polish affairs and relations between the authorities and the opposition, warn against easy optimism. I do not think it was a turning point, but rather a political game. It is not proper may be in this place and in my role to comment in detail behavior of power and the opposition. I am not an optimist when it comes to the development of events around the Constitutional Court, and I think the attitude and the comments emanating from the PiS leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski, are not promising, in my opinion. I have no doubt, and it is not just my opinion, that step is here to power and it should be a step backwards. this means authority should be here to go back against unnecessary in my opinion, the actions to the Constitutional Court, "- said Donald Tusk Polish journalists in the United States, who spoke to him after his Saturday's visit to the Arlington Military Cemetery near Washington. Tusk took part in the capital of the US Nuclear Security Summit.

According to former Prime Minister completely incomprehensible, even in Europe, there are actions the prosecutor's office to the President of the Constitutional Court and the - as he said - require detailed explanations. "I do not know the reasoning, but I know and do not want to comment too much detail, but I know for sure that it does terrible impression not only in Europe but around the world," - he said.

When asked reporters what would happen in Poland that a breakthrough, the former Prime Minister said: "I was also prime minister and also I had to, I'm sorry for the quotes, a little tired of the Constitutional Court. It is for each the executive is some limitation. But the welfare state, as I understand it, requires just such restrictions, even from the most prominent leaders and politicians. such restrictions are something useful. Maybe even especially for those very ambitious such limitations constitutional and political system are in some sense protection for citizens. Therefore I have no doubt that the restoration of the rank of Court and omissions, which would reduce or weaken the Court to the executive, it is absolutely necessary and I say this also knowing the clearest and most durable tradition of the political system in Europe. "

As he said, "generally being a political Europe is founded on the principle of check and balance + +, and in this particular case it is a balance between the Court and the executive." According to him, the other solution than to withdraw from the aggressive policy of the Court - would be to the detriment of Polish.

Tusk was asked if the Americans were interested in the situation in Poland. "I had several such conversations and meetings not only with the Americans. I will not comment on my short conversation with President Obama, because we have committed ourselves both to secrecy, but of course asked about my assessment of the situation in Europe in relation to the situation in Europe, but also the situation in Poland. I will not comment, "- he said.

When asked whether his conversation with Barack Obama took place in similar conditions as the conversation of President Andrew Duda, Tusk said: "I do not understand this silly duel in the media of who is who meets who in whom he ordered the meeting and how long it lasted, because it is simply not serious. Unfortunately, I have to say here that Poland is a unique place on the map. no one met, and there were 60 leaders from around the world who deal in this type of cases, as counting time, if someone was longer or shorter with President Obama. he was busy very organization of this summit, and indeed these brief interview on the occasion of shooting had each leader and not have any bilateral meetings. Each of President Obama exchanged a few sentences and that's all".

As said Tusk during his discussions with other prime ministers and presidents aroused the greatest interest in the two cases. "I was a little surprised, but then I realized why. It was a question of the Forest and horse stable. Maybe because it also has a symbolic dimension. I must say that for me, as a Pole someone who kills mature trees or leads to death of horses and in the Janow stud like doing terrible things. I wonder if there will also shoot storks "- said Donald Tusk.

About Tusk's statement on the development of events associated with TK she was questioned on Saturday, Prime Minister of Law and Justice deputy.

"It is a pity that Donald Tusk says so. A little bit disappointing to me his attitude. It seems to me that he had an incredible opportunity to present a fair case Polish international arena and silence around the Polish this completely unauthorized fuss that where it was born and speech by European Parliament President Martin Schulz "- said the Prime Minister in Polsat News.

She mentioned the situation of the last European summit. "Martin Schulz, when I said already, the parliament will be held, he allowed himself to attention, I use strong words, insolent, on Polish. He said that would be the resolution of the Polish. It was very nieeeleganckie and aggressive. Donald Tusk did not react . Donald Tusk stepped back and looked at Schulz as if moved away from him during his tirade and attack. He spoke David Cameron said Victor Orban and of course I'm well. I think that Donald Tusk, if I was in his place, is Pole and should stand on the side of his country. He should not allow such tirades. It showed that the approach Donald Tusk to what is happening in Poland. are unnecessary fuss "- said the Prime Minister.
