At least six people were killed and nearly 220 were injured in two bomb attacks on police stations in the east of Turkey – have informed the local authorities. The attacks are blamed militants of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

The car bomb exploded in front of a police building in the town of Elazig in the province of the same name, killing at least three policemen and wounding 146 people – said the governor Murat Zorluoglu. At least 14 people are in serious condition.
 

According to the deputy mayor of Elazig, Mahmut Varol, an explosion occurred in the area belonging to the police station. Burned many cars parked nearby – he added.
