Russia has deployed bombers in Iran. Already attacked targets in Syria – Virtual Poland

Russia has deployed bombers in Iranian air base Hamedan. Moscow media reported unofficially that the aircraft will be flying out there to combat operations over Syria.

On the basis of Hamedan were deployed aircraft long-range Tu-22M3. Thanks to their flight time Syria has been reduced by 60 percent. Thus, they can take more bombs and ammunition.
 

It is not known how many aircraft stationed in Iran. So far, Russian bombers for operations in Syria flew from an airport located in Mozdok in North Ossetia.
 



 According to some sources, Russia is preparing a massive bombing rebel positions in Syria. It intends to use the aircraft and missiles placed on the ships. Reportedly has already invited Iran and Iraq by providing air corridors for the passage of its missiles in the direction of Syria.
 

The first attacks have been carried out. “The heavy bombers Tu-22M3 and Su-34 tactical Russian Air Force took off with a full load from Hamadan (Iran) and made a raid on the objects terrorist groups Islamic State and the (former) al-Nusra Front in the provinces of Aleppo, Deir-az Zaur and Idlib, “- said representatives of the defense Ministry, quoted by TASS.
 

They added that the bombers were insured by fighters Su-30SM and Su-35 from Hmejmim in the Syrian province of Latakia. After the operation, all aircraft returned safely to their bases.
 



 
 On Monday, the Russian navy also began maneuvers in the eastern Mediterranean. These involve ships capable of launching cruise missiles type Calib.
