Alexei Navalny: cut the electronic bracelet – Virtual Poland

One of the leaders of the opposition in Russia, Alexei Navalny refused to continue to adhere to the rigors of home detention measures imposed on him by the District Court in Moscow.
 

This decision Navalny said on his blog. He also passed the cut electronic bracelet assumed persons in relation to which the court applied a preventive measure in the form of house arrest.
 

Oppositionist decided that keeping him under house arrest is unlawful. According to the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation authorize the use of such a preventive measure only to suspects or accused, but not convicted.

Navalny also announced that it will not go anywhere, and the “need to move boils down to travel from home to office and back, as well as the rest of the family.”

Navalny – a lawyer, blogger and a fighter against corruption – is one of the leaders of the protests in Moscow in 2012 against Vladimir Putin’s return to the Kremlin. In September 2013 years Navalny took part in the elections the mayor of Moscow, second only to the current Mayor Sergei Sobianinowi.
