At the airport in New Orleans panic
When the TSA agents examined the three boarding passes passengers approached them 62-year-old Richard White, sprayed officers and passengers standing in line with insecticide and then swung a machete.
Located near the cop gave three shots in the direction of White’s, when he tried to escape. White was taken to the hospital unconscious – said Jefferson Parish Sheriff Newell Normand. Damage suffered during the shooting or the TSA.
Because of the incident at the airport was panic. Several passengers were slightly injured when they tried to escape from the scene.
Motives of White who works as a taxi driver and had not previously been recorded, are not known.
Airport did not work for approx. 20 minutes. “The situation at the airport in New Orleans-Louis Armstrong is now under control, the airport is safe. There is no threat” – has announced Mayor Mitch Landrieu of New Orleans.
